- Can we find any aladdin chip which comes with 49LF020?
SST49LF020 is made by SST,but it has been stopped manufacturing for long time,because there is a defect of the architecture; then the upgrade version SST49LF020A comes out,it is the replacement of the 49LF020.Now in the market,the SST49LF020 stock is very limited, almost no SST49LF020 in the market.

- What is the different between the 49LF020 and 49LF020A on aladdin chip?
The SST chip which has been used on the aladdin chip is a memory, they are the same store size and same footprint,but the pins define & communication method different; when the aladdin chip comes out, is comes with SST49LF020, so the upgrade tools are developped only for only 49LF020, then people love 49LF020 more than 49LF020A. becasue they install the chip with the 49lf020 haven't met any trouble, but when the got the aladdin chip with 49LF020A, they can not upgrade the bios file with their old tools, so they refuse the SST49LF020A after that.

- How can we upgrade the aladdin chip (SST49LF020A)with a new bios file?
the old aladdin xt upgrade tools (2 disc) are only compatible with the SST49LF020,there has no the SST49LF020A ID data inside the software, you should change the ID define file of the software, but for the user, nobody knows how to change it, so you only can use our aladdin family programmer for upgrading,& it is very fast, only 2-3 minute for each chip..

- What is the different between the aladdin family programmer and the aladdin live programmer?
the aladdin family programmer is the newest upgrade tools for all aladdin chip, it is compatible with the SST49LF020 /SST49LF020A &SST49LF002B,it is faster than the old live programmer! and the old aladdin live programmer only can be used on aladdin live with SST49LF020, can not be used on aladdin xt chip.

- How about the Matrix infinity se?
It is very good and cheap solution for your playstation 2,supports dvd movie region free on ps2 v1-v12 and it use 3.3V power suply, electric current is very very small, cause the temperature keep normal to make the chip very stable, it is not harmful for the lens. but it just a copy from the original matrix infinity chip, so it can not be upgrade into v1.39 (and so on), it comes with the v1.38 firmware inside. and you can not save the clour setting into the chip, if you do so, you will change the content of the matrix infinity memory, then the communication between the 2 IC will cause trouble, the chip can not work perfectly again.
